Together with our subsidiary UNIS Power, we have successfully completed delivery and installation of a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) for the chemical company BorsodChem in Kazincbarcika, Hungary. Besides the HRSG, the delivery also included “by-pass” stack for independent operation of the gas turbine without steam generation, catalytic system (SCR) for reduction of NOx and CO emissions, integrated boiler house building, the overall plant control system and other auxiliary power plant systems. UNIS Power acted as the main contractor on the project. UNIS then prepared the project documentation, facilitated the supply of equipment, installation, site supervision and commissioning of the industrial automation and electrical parts. The contract was signed with the operator of the power plant, company BC Power Energiatermelö II Kft., Hungary. Testing and commissioning took place at the first half of the year and the complete plant was handed over for commercial use in July 2023.
