UNIS has signed a contract with the Bratislava refinery Slovnaft for the EPC project CDU Debottlenecking for the atmospheric vacuum distillation unit AVD6. This is a more economically appropriate variant of the AVD6 unit upgrade when processing alternative crude oil other than Russian crude oil. This new systematic process removes bottlenecks throughout the refinery.

UNIS will act as the main contractor for the project and will build on the BDEP documentation it prepared earlier this year. The work will include the preparation of detailed design documentation, including documentation for obtaining a building permit, purchasing and supplying equipment and materials, providing installation works, construction management, commissioning and providing a warranty test.

The completion date for the work according to the agreed schedule is expected to be September 2024.
