COMPLETION OF RECONSTRUCTION AND CAPACITY INCREASE OF THE HYDROKRAK UNIT IN THE BELARUS REFINERY NAFTAN

The hydrocracking complex or implementation of the hydrocracking process (HVGO) of heavy vacuum gas oil is focused on obtaining light petroleum products (gasoline and diesel).
The contract followed the construction of this unit carried out in the years 2002 - 2004. Thanks to the "Hydrokrak", the Naftan refinery acquired a unique product - diesel fuel meeting the Euro-5 standard. In 15 years, more than 7 million tons of diesel have been produced here by the hydrocracking process. The just completed second phase of the reconstruction will increase the capacity of the hydrocracker by 25%, ie from the original capacity of 112,5 t / h of processed heavy vacuum gas oil to 142,2 t / h. UNIS acted as a general contractor and designer, ensured the preparation of engineering research, processed design documentation, mediated the supply of technological equipment and materials and, last but not least, organized author's supervision and supervision within the assembly and commissioning. After successful start-up and reaching the parameters, the unit is now in trial operation.
In addition to increasing the production of diesel and kerosene, it will be possible to process a completely new raw material in the complex's facilities - heavy vacuum gas oil from a delayed coking unit. And high-quality by-products such as hydrogenated refined residues for paraffin oil production, base lubricating oil components, liquefied petroleum gas and gasoline will continue to be provided in large quantities.
